Hello Everybody,

My name is Christine Cromie, I have been employed by The Lloyd Park Centre as an Assistant Administrator since September 2010. Prior to being employed I was working as a Volunteer Administrator at Higham Hill Children’s Centre. Having not worked in an office for 25 years, I was very unfamiliar with the environment and the office procedures, but the support I received from the whole team gave me the confidence to progress in my role, as well as build up my skills and experience. It is a pleasure getting up in the morning and coming into work, because no one day is the same. My role consists of answering the telephones (Sometimes two at a time!), meeting and greeting visitors to the Centre, registering families to the Children’s Centre and Day Care and inputting onto the Children’s Centre Database-Estart. These are just a few of the many jobs I undertake on a day-to-day basis. I am extremely grateful to have been given this opportunity, and would like to thank Pauline and the Lloyd Park Team.
